We believe [Nitro] is VA potential. His structure
coupled with his great working temperament and orthopedic soundness is
everything you could want in a GSD. We would like to see him make
it to USA Seiger. He's that good. |

Just wanted to give you an
update on your Mr. Black born 10/07/03 (our Arrow). What an incredible
dog!!! He continues to amaze us with his intelligence an loyalty. Hard
to believe it's been a year since he became a member of our family. We
love him so much. He has become our companion and protector, never
leaving our sides day or night. We often comment that he seems to
understand everything we say to him. He cocks his head, listens intently
and does exactly what we tell him. It's amazing. We want to thank you
again for being such a responsible and caring breeder. You took the time
to understand what we were looking for in a dog and Arrow has become
everything we had hoped for. |

Kathleen, feel free to put every thing about Nitro on your web site. He
is the most magnificent male shepherd I've ever seen. Not to mention
the most intelligent. You did a superb job in your breeding program.
I'm looking forward to the day when I send you pictures of him getting
his SCH 3 title. This boy is going all the way. A german shepherd like
him needs to be in every line. The dog is literally perfect.

Kathy,
I wanted to let you know how Xander is
doing. Also we finally got a digital camera so as soon as we
get pictures, we'll E-mail ya some! He is looking just like
Max. He is so smart and loving. He is the second best dog I've
ever owned, and I say second because I had my other dog for over
13 years and Xander of course isn't even half a year old. He'll
probably eventually get my #1 position! I can honestly say that
if anything happened to my baby boy I would be devastated. I
just can't stop staring at him, he is that beautiful. The Vet
says he's never seen a German Shepherd like him! I'm already so
used to him that when I'm around other dogs, I start wondering
what's wrong with them. They just don't have his brain power
and I have to remind myself that they don't have his wonderful
breeding in their lineage. You get used to a wonderful dog like
him pretty quick. He is so big boned too! Just so masculine
and heavy. At first he was a terrible klutz but he is getting
very athletic extremely fast now that he is growing into his
feet. I love his color too! Such a nice blending of the red
and black on his face and body. If you remember the story I
told you about my husbands Shepherd, Bear, you'll get a kick out
of this. Max really reminded my husband of Bear and
occasionally he slips up and accidentally calls Xander, Bear.
He wasn't sure he could love another dog like he loved Bear but
now he looks like a boy out in the yard playing with him. I
swear those too understand each other's thoughts now! He just
fits in with our family perfectly. I can honestly say I love
him. He just has so many facial expressions. When I want him
all I have to do is look at him and he is there. He sits on my
feet and just throws his head back into my lap. He just loves
to be touched all over his head and neck. All our friends think
he's gorgeous though I still hear from people that try to
convince me that German Shepherds are killers and he'll never be
social. He is so gentle! The only time he hurts anybody was
when he was a little younger and fell a lot when he played and
of course then he would give you an oops look. He barks at
strangers but as soon as you introduce him to anybody all he
wants to do is give em kisses and play. I can't think of any
bad traits he has. He is just so wonderful. I brag to people
about him as if he were one of my children. Well, I'll let you
go for now. I really just wanted to keep in touch and let you
know how he is doing. I will have some PICS for you soon and
you may use them if you wish. I love it when people see how
beautiful my boy is! Talk to you later, Dawn Ruder

Dear Kathleen, Miss Pink is adorable and sends her love to everybody! She is the
smartest little thing and such a good girl. She was the "lone
dog" the first night; then we introduced our Jack Russell on day #2,
and they got along great right away. They are playing upstairs right
now; I can hear the pitter patter of paws on the floor above me.
Anyway, on day #3 we introduced one little poodle and on day #4 we
introduced the final little poodle. The poodles have taken more time
to warm up to "Saber" as we call her, but they become more
tolerant every day. They no longer growl and bare teeth when Saber
playfully nips at their pom-poms while running down the hall. Our cat
is still very disapproving of our little "intruder." Also, I appreciate the e-mail you sent regarding the other supplements. Saber is such a doll, and appears to be exactly what we were hoping for in a
neutral temperament. She seems very easy-going and eager to please.
Also I believe the smartest dog I've ever owned. I am beginning
to see why the German Shepherd breed is so highly spoken of! She does
keep us quite busy with trips to the potty spot, which we expect will be the
case for 2-4 more weeks. Overall she's doing really well with the
housetraining, though. We can't begin to tell you how much we are
enjoying her! Thanks again for the privilege of buying one of your
very fine puppies. Best regards, Craig and Diane Pittenger

Dear Kathleen -
Max is a most wonderful pup! He is beautiful- smart - sweet-
everything I had hoped for and more! He was well
adjusted from the very beginning. He's already house
broken and crate trained. He didn't even cry the first night here. Max seems to have a terrific nose and I hope to train him to
track. He does have high food drive. His ears have
been up already and then of coarse-back down. I'm enclosing the sales
contract that I have signed - But- don't worry -
you're Never getting Him back under any circumstances!
I'll be in touch about getting a female puppy from you. When will
she be available?
Thanks so very much for a wonderful companion -I'll cherish him and
see that he becomes all he can be.
Sincerely,
Anne Frick |

Dear
Kathleen,
Here
are some of the photos I promised to you. I figured that I'd get those in
the mail before time ran over me again! Not much more to add from the
telephone conversation. I just cannot say enough how I appreciate the fact
that you're such a responsible breeder and you are such an obvious caring
person about your shepies.
Sabre
is such a great dog. He's so spirited and really keeps me on my toes most of
the time. I'll try to get some more recent photos off to you very soon.
Hope
that you enjoy seeing my baby. As you can see, he still has that sweet
face-even though it's a bit lighter now. He's so beautiful!
Take
care, Ruel |

Kathleen,
Helga
is doing great! She does real well at tracking, her nose never leaves the
ground. She's doing great at her bite work too. Ron (our trainer) runs back
and I let go of Helga's leash and Helga runs up to Ron and bites the sleeve.
She is also doing great at obedience. She is so good with my one year old
son and my four year old daughter. Helga likes playing with my husband. When
he was working on our house in the back yard, Helga would take his hammer
and hide it. Danny (my husband) would get it and Helga would take it again.
It was funny. Well, I wanted to send you this picture of Helga and me.
Take
Care, Cindy Richardson
PS.
Do you know when you will have another litter? Friends in my club are
interested! |

Dear
Kathleen,
I
cannot begin to tell you what a beautiful dog my girl is becoming. She is
Very healthy and so full of energy. She is exceptionally smart, and is
learning the basic commands very quickly.
She
is also curious about everything. No matter what I do she has to help me.
Pulling weeds can be a challenge with a 30 lb. dog playing tug-o-war with my
work gloves, while I am wearing them.
Thank
you for giving me the opportunity to own a dog of her quality!

Dear
Kathleen:
I
would like to thank you for Iso. He is a very promising puppy. I love him..
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I love his playfulness and his
incredible inquisitiveness. My friends from our search and rescue team adore
the pup. My first assignment is to find a lot of kids to play with Iso
and to put Iso through a Puppy Kindergarten Class.
I
also took Iso to our schutzhund club meeting. The president of our club and all people in the club really liked
Iso. They praised his temperament and his looks and said that he is a very
good schutzhund prospect. One German gentleman said that he would definitely
buy a puppy like Iso.
I
could talk about Iso all day. I know it sounds crazy. I am sending 2
pictures of Iso from our first snowfall in the city. Iso went crazy when he
saw the snow. I will keep in touch and send more pictures.
Sincerely,
Joanna

Dear
Kathleen:
I
came across this picture of Baron (your Cliff von Stevenhaus) this week. It
was taken in the Spring. Baron weighs
just over 100 pounds. He is very large and very protective of us and our
property. We hired a trainer to come to my home and work with me on training
him. Baron received all kinds of praise from the trainer in the ease of
training and also in his looks. My vet also tells me every time we are there
that he is exceptional in build and looks. He says he does not look like the
"average shepherd". Enough of my praises. I hope you enjoy the
picture.
Sincerely,
Helen

Dear
Kathleen,
Here
are some pictures of Hasso at about 8 months of age. He is such a great pup!
We think he's grown to look just like his dad. I can't begin to tell you
what a good dog he is. He is such a friendly dog and very receptive to
training. Since we live with a number of other dogs nearby, we've had the
opportunity to see the huge difference in Hasso versus the others.
Thank
you for all of your advice and help since we purchased Hasso from you- we
appreciate all the time you have graciously spent answering our questions
and sharing your knowledge.
Regards,
Sheena

Dear
Kathleen,
Enclosed
are some recent pictures of Gus. We sure enjoy him a lot! He is friendly and
gets along well with just about everybody. Gus weighs right at 90 pounds. He
is a ball maniac. As soon as you go outside, he will get any one of about
ten balls that he has stashed on the property. He will play fetch until you
get tired! I am enclosing a self addressed envelope so you can send me the
translation of his pedigree. I hope this letter finds you well.
Sincerely,
Dr.

Hi
Kathleen,
Happy
Holidays! Well, this letter is way overdue as we have been extremely busy
this fall and winter. Having grown up with German Shepherds, we are very
impressed with Kanto. His temperament is incredible, very spirited and a
very great looking dog. When we take Kanto for walks, we always receive
numerous comments on what a wonderful dog we have . After the holidays Kanto
will start attending a training class to reinforce the training we have
already given him. He has learned the basic obedience and is very eager to
learn and shows extremely high intelligence. He was virtually house broken
in less than a week after we brought him home.
We
have enclosed some pictures of the day we picked him up and some more recent
ones. Have a great holiday season and thank you again for your Great
Breeding of German Shepherds!
Bob
and Dixie and Kanto too!!! |

I was at a Celtic festival yesterday and saw the most
beautiful German Shepard puppy! I spoke with the owners (Sharon
Johnstone) and asked where they had gotten it. They gave me your
information. They had nothing but good things to say about your dogs
and breeding program. They are very happy with their puppy. My
husband and I have been wanting a German Shepard for some time. We were not looking forward to beginning the search for
a reputable breeder. I've been to your website and am impressed with
your dogs.
